-How We Started-

Caleb Smith, the founder of The Honey Smith, has loved bees from an early age. Both of his grandfathers, his father, and one of his aunts kept bees over the years, and he grew up watching and helping his father raise bees as a hobby at their family home. That makes Caleb a third-generation beekeeper. Throughout his life, owning his own hives was a personal goal. In 2022, with his aunt’s encouragement, he took the first step on this journey. Caleb now manages 30 hives across 10 apiary locations, producing about 1,500 lb of honey a year, and climbing. Caleb’s passion for beekeeping has grown into the thriving operation it is today.

Our mission is to provide raw, pure, and authentic honey to those who value its natural qualities—whether they seek healthy eating options, want to enjoy our amazing and unique flavors, or simply wish to experience real raw honey. We are also committed to sharing and teaching our children about the love, responsibility, and connection we share with nature.
